Bluegrass Diesel Performance Core Return Policy

What is a core?

A “core” is the used item that is being exchanged for the new/remanufactured product you have purchased.

Which products have a core?

All fuel injectors, fuel injection pumps, torque converters, and other OEM replacement parts are sold on an exchange basis. If a core charge is applicable to a certain product, it will be noted in the product description.

No Upfront Core Cost

After purchase of the product the customer has a maximum of 20 days to return the core parts to the MANUFACTURER. If the core parts are not received within the 20 day period, the core charge amount will be applied to the customer and MAY NOT BE REFUNDED.

Where do I send my core?

All cores must be returned to the MANUFACTURER. If the core is sent to us, you will be charged the amount that it costs to ship the product on to the manufacturer.

Acceptable Core Condition

All cores must be returned in acceptable condition. Parts that have been disassembled and reassembled, burned, or damaged beyond repair, may not be accepted as valid core parts. If you have any questions regarding the validity of your core, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shipping your Core

Core parts should be returned in the same packaging that your new/remanufactured part was shipped in. It is imperative that you drain all fuel, oil, or other fluids before packaging your core. It is also important to remove any old fittings or connectors that you may need to transfer on to the new/reman part.

A core return form will be provided to the customer; depending on the manufacturer, the core return form may be included in the package. Otherwise, we will send a core return form via email.

If you have any questions pertaining to core returns or core charges, please contact us ASAP. It is important that all cores are returned in a timely manner.
