2006-07 Duramax S&B Cold Air Intake (Dry Disposable Filter) - 75-5013-1D
* Breathe easy. Your engine & warranty are protected.TM
Add power and fun while still protecting your investment.
* Amazing airflow, substantial protection.
With the cotton filter installed, this kit out flows the stock intake by 49.5% while maintaining a 99.81% efficiency rating. When using the dry disposable filter the numbers were equally impressive. Airflow was increased by 47.2% while stopping 99.68% of the dirt. Both filters were tested at 653 CFM.
* ISO 5011 Filtration Testing.
A mountain of dust and our 1/2 million dollar lab is how far we've gone to make sure your engine is protected.
* Fits better than stock.
An integrated tab makes for a seamless, single bolt attachment, to the frame of your Duramax just as done by the stock air box. Most installs take about 30 minutes.
* Huge secondary intlet.
Airflow with options.
When its cool out, feed your engine more air through the air box's secondary opening. Just in case the thought of all that extra cold air makes you shiver, a plug is provided to seal off the extra inlet.
* Avoid check engine lights.
We designed this kit to avoid check engine lights with a properly mapped Mass Air Sensor. This is where we run away from the competition. Vehicles are becoming more complex. S&B devotes a huge amount of resources to engineer intakes that will allow your engine to run properly with the stock calibration or with enhanced tuning.
* Know when to change your filter.
Just pop your hood and know when its time to service your filter thanks to our signature clear lid. Custom molded for strength and to accomodate for a huge filter. The lid shields the filter from engine heat and debris for better performance and longer filter life.
* Quality Down to the Last Screw.
High quality products are an obsession of ours, so you only get the best components when buying S&B
* Cleanable or dry filters. You pick.
We offer intakes with two types of filters. cotton (cleanable) or dry (disposable). Since you are not sacrificing performance with either choice, the decision comes down to would you rather throw away the filter or clean it.
